Proper usage and maintenance
Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Ash
Origin
Ash is commonly found in temperate regions in the northern hemisphere as well as in middle/northern US. The Skagerak ash comes from European forests. Why
Ash is a light type of wood with a living structure. Its strength and durability make a good choice for indoor furniture and accessories.
Cleaning
Use a damp cloth and soapy water. Wipe with a dry cloth to ensure a spotless surface. If the pores of the wood should rise use a sandpaper (grit 120-150).Maintenance
Dust it several times a week in order to maintain a clean surface and protect the finish from building up soil. Use a clean, lint-free, absorbent cloth for general dusting.

About the designer / Line Depping

"Design should be simple, obvious and without any feeling of self-exaltation – and then it ought to include a humane touch." Based on this belief, Line seeks to develop new projects and objects that puts functionality to the forefront, and she loves to challenge herself combining new materials and styles. Wooden materials are without doubt Line’s preferred choice for designing, but she stays open to contest her own comfort-zone and try out new material combinations. Her approach is workshop based, which allows her to re-develop her creations throughout the whole process.
