Returns and refunds

If you regret your purchase in our webshop  please send or hand over the product to Fritz Hansen A/S, Allerødvej 8, 3400 Allerød, Denmark, Att.: Webshop, without any unnecessary delay and latest 14 days after you have notified about your cancellation. The deadline is fulfilled when you return the product within 14 days. You pay for delivery expenses related to the return of the product.

Products cannot be return by cash on delivery. Parcels returned by Postnord must be handed in for distribution. Products delivered as a parcel can be returned with Postnord by using the enclosed parcel return label. Products delivered by carrier can be returned with Thortrans/Hvejsel. Please contact our sales support who will help arrange a pick-up of your return. Expenses for returns is expect to be at most DKK 1.000 per cubic metre (1 cubic metre is minimum per return delivery). Please enclose return form. 

Refunds
If you cancel your order we will refund all payments received from you including delivery costs if any. If you chose a delivery form which is more expensive than the cheapest delivery form offered by us we will not refund the additional expenditure.

We refund the amount without any unnecessary delay and without further ado latest 14 days from the day you notified us about the cancellation. However we can withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or you have provided documentation for the return. The refund will be paid back to the credit card (or method of payment) used to pay for the order unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise. We will not charge any fees as a result of the refund.

Testing product and packaging

You are personally liable for a possible reduction of the value of the product which is caused by an unnecessary handling of the product to determine the products type, features and the way it is supposed to work.

You are allowed to study the product in the same way as you can and are allowed to in a physical store, but you are not allowed to start using the product. If you have used the product in a way which it not possible or not allowed in a store and we cannot sell the product again, or are unable to sell the product again at full price, you must expect that we deduct the decrease in value when we refund the amount. We will not refund the amount if the product no longer has a commercial value.

You must return the product in the original packaging.

Please make sure that the product is securely packed when you return the product. The return of the product is at your risk until we have received the returned product. Remember to keep the delivery receipt and track and trace number if available.

Complaints
If you have purchased a product and it is damaged - e.g. faulty material or a manufacturing fault - the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply. You can file a complaint within 24 months from the date you received the product by contacting us by e-mail at webshop@fritzhansen.com or phone +45 70 80 70 90. Please describe the claim as detailed as possible.

If the claim is legitimate we will refund your reasonable delivery costs. Please remember that the product must be returned securely packed and that you receive a receipt for your return delivery. Keep the delivery receipt including information delivery costs and track and trace number if available. 

Conditions
We make certain reservations to wrong prices, typing errors, sold-out products and force majeure including failure in delivery from our suppliers.

Even though we have made a great effort to indicate colors and quality as accurate as possible your computer's colors and screen resolution might differ from ours. We cannot guarantee that your computer can reproduce the colors accurately. If you are in doubt about color or quality please visit one of our stores or partners.

Disputes
You can file a complaint against Fritz Hansen A/S regarding your purchase in the webshop. In Denmark complaints should be filed to Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsens Center for Klageløsning, Carl Jacobsensvej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can file your complaint on www.forbrug.dk.

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution website is relevant for private consumers living in another EU country. You can file your complaint at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When filing a complaint you must state the following e-mail address webshop@fritzhansen.com.

Applicable Law
Any dispute arising between a customer and Fritz Hansen A/S will be settled in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
