Drachmann Table 190 / 2.249 eur
Designed by Bernt Santesson
Launched in 1982, Drachmann is Skagerak’s longest-living outdoor series – still going strong. Inspired by the Danish poet and painter Holger Drachmann, the design finds a timeless balance between Nordic nostalgia and modern simplicity. The table seats at least 8 people and has a practical hole in the center for a parasol.

Proper usage and maintenance
Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Painted Sapelli
Origin
Sapelli is commonly found in the whole region of Central Africa. The Sapelli we use comes from the Republic of the Congo and is FSC-certified; ensuring a sustainable forest management. Why
Sapelli’s sturdiness and high density makes it unrivalled when it comes to painted wood designs. The specially developed paint is applied layer upon layer with intermediate sandings between each step, continuing until the surface is completely smooth. The paint also protects against green growth and discolouring – making the product resilient for outdoor usage.Cleaning
Clean your product with a suitable furniture cleaner and a soft brush. To achieve the best result, we recommend to disassemble your furniture and carefully clean all parts – as some corners and joints will otherwise be difficult to reach properly.Maintenance
Wood is an organic material that moves and reacts to changes in humidity and temperature. After cleaning, it’s therefore a good idea to dry off the product in a garage or the like for 2-3 days. When fully dried, check thoroughly for small cracks or scratches. To avoid further damage, these should be fixed immediately by using our repair-kit with touch-up lacquer provided with the product.
Don’t forget to look after scratches under the legs of your furniture.Winter storage
During winter the furniture should be stored in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar.Indoor use
The wood has been dried for outdoor use. However, if you wish to use the furniture indoors it may need to be re-tightened once in a while.
