Director's Chair 535 eur
Designed by Skagerak Design
Director's Chair is a Nordic interpretation of the iconic chair often seen on film sets. It has a warm and inviting appeal that is perfect for modern interiors, where Director's Chair is equally suited as a dining chair or as a comfortable chair in the bedroom, office or any other room. Besides that, Director's Chair is foldable and suited for outdoor living as long as you remember to bring it with you, when the night falls, as the canvas isn’t weather-resistant.

Proper usage and maintenance
Proper usage and maintenance are vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Teak is commonly found in Southeast Asia, Central and South America. Our FSC-certified Teak comes from Central America, Brazil and Indonesia, while our non-certified Teak comes from plantations in Southeast Asia and Trinidad; managed to sustain a renewable and reliable supply of wood.
Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant and it is therefore a good choice for household articles and furniture.
For regular cleaning use a suitable cleaning agent for wood.
As the wood is untreated the surface will change colour over time and eventually turn into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year.
Canvas is a strong fabric made of good quality cotton, which makes it a good choice for hammocks and upholstery. Be aware that the fabric will stretch approximately 10%.
The canvas is machine washable at max 40° C. Use a delicate program. Do not tumble dry. Stubborn stains can be removed using a spot remover. Note: To make sure that the canvas still fits the Director’s Chair place the canvas on the chair while still humid. Always bring your Director's Chair inside at night or in rainy weather.
