Terne Table Lamp / 349 eur
Designed by Bjørn van den Berg
The inspiration from Japanese lanterns and Danish functionalism is clear in Terne, which is a contemporary pendant lamp with a soft and pleasant light. The mouth-blown opal glass shade is fixed by a top and a base in powder-coated aluminum that enhances the discrete and subtle expression of the lamp and makes it easy to move.

Proper usage and maintenance
Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Powder coated aluminum
Powder coating is a high-quality and dry finishing process which makes is possible to create a thicker and more streamlined surface than with conventional liquid paint. Applied on the super light-weight aluminum, it reduces the risk of impact from moisture, UV, scratches and corrosion.
Use a soft brush with soapy water and wipe with a dry cloth. Note: Do not use abrasive pads or abrasive cleaning agents as this may harm the surface.
Although sturdy and resistant, powder coated aluminum is not invincible, and scratches in the coating can appear. To prolong the life of your product, we recommend to recoat the scratches immediately with our special touch-up paint.
Opal glass is a translucent or opaque kind of milk-white and coloured glass. It was first made in Venice back in the 16th century and became really popular during the Fin de siècle – the end of the 19th century. When saturating the glass it throws a warm and softened light into the room, perfect for indoor use.
Cleaning and maintenance
Let the glass cool off before you clean it. Dust off the glass regularly with a dry, soft cloth. Use a soapy, damp cloth to remove greasy spots from the surface. Make sure to use a mild detergent; avoid products with abrasives and solvents. When clean, be aware that all water must have evaporated before the lamp is turned on again.
