Iota Blanket / 1.695 dkk
Designed by Included Middle
Iota is the ninth letter in the Greek alphabet, and a sublimely soft woolen blanket with a minimalist expression. The design is inspired by the uppercase and lowercase versions of the letter, creating a visual image altogether that reinterprets the classic check pattern.

Proper usage and maintenance
Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Skagerak’s merino wool comes mainly from Australia and the Falklands Islands. The Alpaca fibres are mainly from Peru while small amounts come from New Zealand.
The 50/50 blend of Alpaca and Merino combines the best characteristics of the two fibres. Alpaca fleece is ultra-soft and has a beautiful gloss, while Merino wool is great at regulating body temperature and adds strength to the final product. That makes the blend a good choice for both warm cozy nights and cold winter evenings.
The alpaca and merino mix should only be dry-cleaned. However, most spots can be removed with lukewarm water and wool detergent. It’s a good idea to test on a small spot before beginning the cleaning process. Use only a small amount of detergent and dry up with an absorbent cloth.
About the designer / Included Middle
Take a furniture designer (Chris L. Halstrøm) and a textile designer (Margrethe Odgaard) and place them in the same room. Now ask them to define a project. That is more or less how this unique design-duo Included Middle began their collaboration. ‘Since we come from two quite different professions our dogma is that both areas should be present in our products. Form, function, pattern and colours affect each other mutually when we work. As Included Middle we almost become a third person, who creates objects based on all four parameters.’
